Michael Roy is a Managing Director of Pacific Marketing Partners, Inc., and he manages the San Francisco Bay Area office of the firm. He has broad based experience in structuring financial transactions, and in managing mergers and acquisitions in the food, consumer products, industrial products, and technology industries. He began his business career as a senior associate with the American investment banking firm Lehman Brothers, Kuhn Loeb, Inc., and he served as the President and CEO of two specialty financial service firms in San Francisco. He has represented numerous U. S. and Japanese companies in financial transactions in the U. S. He is an experienced corporate strategic analyst and implementer and he has represented U. S. food, beverage, consumer products, and industrial technology companies in distribution and strategic alliance negotiations with Japanese companies. Mr. Roy is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with degrees in Philosophy and Theology. He is a former Regular Officer in the U. S. Navy.

Minoru Awabayashi is a Managing Director of  Pacific Marketing Partners, Inc., and he manages the Tokyo office of the firm. A Japanese national educated in both Japan and the U. S., he has extensive experience in directing and managing broad ranging strategic projects for U. S. companies in Japan. He is a recognized expert on marketing strategy and implementation for U. S. products into the Japanese marketplace. He is frequently consulted by both U. S. and Japanese companies regarding cultural ramifications of strategies and policies in the others country. He is an experienced negotiation translator between the Japanese and English languages for and with senior corporate managements. Mr. Awabayashi previously served as a Managing Director with TechnoTrans Japan, a technology transfer firm. He has formally served as the President & CEO of the Japanese subsidiaries of Dalgety Kokusai Noen (a subsidiary of the British agribusiness conglomerate Dalgety) and of Nippon B-K Foods (a joint venture between Beatrice Hunt-Wesson and the largest food distributor in Japan). Mr. Awabayashi is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, with degrees in Architecture and Business Administration.

Surina Piyadasa is a Representative Director of Pacific Marketing Partners, Inc., and specializes in corporate financial transaction projects from the San Francisco Bay Area offices of the firm. She has extensive experience in structuring and placing corporate structured finance and equity funding projects. She has served as an officer of the Union Bank Capital Markets Group and with Coast Partners Securities. Most recently, she was Vice President and Head of Private Placements for The Brenner Group, Inc., in California's Silicon Valley. In recent years, Ms. Piyadasa has been particularly active in high technology funding and M&A projects. She has established close working relationships with premier venture capital funds, private equity firms, banks, mezzanine lenders, and insurance and finance companies. Ms. Piyadasa is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in Finance, and she has a Masters in Business Administration from Golden Gate University.
